Orders & shipping

How long will my order take to ship?

All orders placed before 2pm Monday to Friday will be shipped on the same day. We offer standard & express shipping with all orders being sent with Australia Post.

What is your return policy?

Return & Exchange Policy - *UPDATED*

At Golden Muse The Store, we hope you absolutely love your purchase — but if something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help. While we do not offer refunds for change of mind, we’re more than happy to provide a store credit or exchange on eligible items, in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.

Exchanges & Store Credit

We gladly accept returns for store credit or exchange if:

  • Your return is initiated within 7 days of delivery (online) or purchase (in store).
  • Items are in original condition — unworn, unwashed, unmarked, and with all tags attached.
  • You provide a valid receipt or proof of purchase.
    Please note: We do not offer refunds for change of mind purchases. Sale items, gift cards, and items marked “final sale” are not eligible for return.

Faulty or Damaged Items

We stand by the quality of every item we stock. If you believe your item is faulty or damaged, please contact us as soon as possible.
Under Australian Consumer Law, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if your item is faulty, significantly different from its description, or doesn’t perform as intended.
To report a faulty item: Email goldenmusethestore@gmail.com with your order number, a brief description, and photos if possible.

How to Return

In-Store Returns
Visit us in-store with your item and proof of purchase. If it meets our return conditions, we’ll process your store credit or exchange on the spot.
Online Orders

  1. Contact us at goldenmusethestore@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your order.
  2. Include your order number, details of the item(s), and whether you prefer a credit or exchange.
  3. Once approved, return the item to us.
    Please note: unless the item is faulty, return shipping is at the customer’s expense which will be deducted from your store credit. 

Store Credit Details

  • Store credits are issued as a unique code via email.
  • Valid for 12 months from the issue date.
  • Can be used both online and in-store.
  • Non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.

Additional Info

Returned items that do not meet the above conditions may be declined. We recommend using a tracked shipping method for postal returns, as we are not responsible for lost items.

Click & Collect

We offer in store pick up. Simply select the in store pick up option upon checkout & we will have your items ready as soon as possible.

Once items are ready for pick up, you will receive a notification to let you know.

We aim to have your items ready as soon as possible, though for busy periods please allow up to 24 hours.
